The rain has come again! The river is up a little and the water clarity is a little cloudy. Fished for about two hours tonight and landed six brown trout in the range of 8-12 inches. One jumped completely out of the water four times before I landed her. Big Drakes and Sulphers swarmed the river after about 6:00 p.m.

The farmers have been busy getting the spring planting in and I saw too many footprints in a field of corn! The local chapter of Trout Unlimited has been doing some great work convincing local landowners to allow them to do conservation work along the river where it is badly needed. Please don't tromp through a field and set the club back in their efforts to make friends with the local owners.
